HMS was one of six top-performing teams from across the UK to scoop a prestigious 2017 Housing Heroes Award earlier this week.
The company picked up the award for Best Development or Maintenance Team of the Year, in recognition of HMS’ consistently excellent performance across its construction, repairs and maintenance service areas.
Winners at the Inside Housing and Chartered Institute of Housing-organised awards night were chosen by an independent panel of judges, who looked out for ‘unsung heroes’ and teams that are leading the way in housing.
HMS’ winning entry showcased the excellence, innovation, quality and diversification achieved during a period of substantial business growth and development for HMS, as the company undertakes ever wider work stream activities to clients across the North West.
The submission also focused on HMS’ successful contributions to the high-profile Granby 4 Streets urban regeneration scheme and Shallcross Court refurbishment - two signature projects that demonstrated the team’s ability to deliver on schedule and budget.
“Winning the Housing Heroes award is a huge achievement for everyone at HMS,” said Managing Director Paul Worthington.
“This national recognition demonstrates our commitment to providing excellent, innovative and high quality services, which deliver tangible results for our clients. It also shines a spotlight on our fantastic team members, who are committed to driving the business forward.”
