HMS has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting emerging construction talent after welcoming this year’s intake of new apprentices.
The 2017 intake covers a variety of activities and trades, including Electrical, Joinery, Plastering and Grounds Maintenance.
Apprenticeships with HMS provide a structured learning environment with practical on the job training provided by specialist construction staff. Each new apprentice is given an individual learning plan to set out their pathway to a full qualification, with apprenticeships lasting between two and three years.
John Barrow, Operations Director at HMS, said, “HMS is passionate about supporting the next generation of construction professionals, so welcoming these bright, talented and committed individuals is fantastic for the whole company.
“The new recruits will spend time at college undertaking formal trade training and will work with our craft teams to gain invaluable hands-on experience - developing key skills that will stay with them for a lifetime.
“We look forward to watching them grow and develop over the coming years.”
