The story so far

Housing Maintenance Solutions (HMS) was established in July 2011 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Liverpool Mutual Homes (LMH). Its purpose is to directly undertake operational activity such as LMH’s Responsive Repair and Maintenance requirements.

HMS’s parent company, LMH, is a Housing Association established on 31st March 2008 to take the transfer of Liverpool City Council’s remaining housing stock. LMH was conceived as a tenant led organisation with tenants at the heart of all decision making. The LMH Board is made up of a majority of tenant members and all tenants are given the opportunity to become a shareholder of LMH.

HMS has a clear vision which will be achieved through its operational framework, and will be overseen by the Board.
